This cozy, rustic camp, nestled in Forestport’s woods, makes a great hub for family vacations, romantic getaways, and year round Adirondack fun! Sleeping 4+, you can comfortably bring the whole gang!
Steps away from The Wigwam, hiking and snowmobile trails, local beach access & boat launch, restaurants, and less than 30 minutes to Old Forge, you will be in prime territory to enjoy the scenic Adirondack Park year round!
Inside the camp, you’ll find an inviting floor plan, with lots of cozy places to relax!
The main level has 2 connected living rooms, with 4 couches and space to spread out as a family. A TV/DVD player, family movies & games are also available for your use. The dining room seats 6, with additional seating in the kitchen for 4. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, bowls, pots/pans, basic cooking/pantry needs, etc. to make packing easy. There is a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and stove, as well as electric frying pan & waffle maker. The master bedroom with queen bed is right off the dining room, and the full bath is also located on the main level. Upstairs is a loft perfect for kids, with 3 bunk beds sleeping 3 adults. Sleeping bags, children’s books & toys are provided as well.
The cabin is heated primarily with one large wood stove, and additional baseboard electric heating, making it cozy all year round, perfect for winter camping! Fire wood is provided.
Outside, relax around the fire pit, enjoy s’mores, and let nature take away your stress!

Summary: We loved this cabin! It is well stocked with everything you might need. It has so much to offer for families with children. Bring your slippers as it gets cool on the sub zero temperature days. But, the stove is cozy and the environment is warm. We enjoyed games, good food, lots of laughs, and some skiing in Old Forge. We definitely plan to be back! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful space with us!

Summary: This is a beautiful cabin and environment to spend some alone time with God. (Which is exactly what I needed.) As I looked around the cabin, it can actually host quite a large gathering. It was clean, stocked with wood and items you need so you don't have to bring your own. When I got there, Andrew and Michelle already had the wood stove lit for me (I previously let them know that I don't have a clue as to that kind of thing. Im a city girl hahaha) You can feel the love and extra mile they put into making sure you enjoy your time at Peaceful Pines! I will be telling my family and friends about it!

Summary: This place was amazing! The grounds are so beautiful and the cabin is so peaceful and cozy. The owners are super nice and are available for any questions. It’s close to a lot of hiking trails and is overall a beautiful place. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Summary: A group of 8 of us (2 families of 4) stayed here so we could enjoy my sons birthday at Enchanted Forest. The kids loved having a seperate area upstairs. We had a bonfire the one night which was great. It was quiet and felt "homey". This place has everything you need and then some. No wifi which was nice to unplug.

Summary: It was a great place and cabin was clean, the construction makes the outside a little bit unorganized but overall a very nice place. Didn’t realize it was collected water and only a certain supply so I recommend lots of paper plates etc as we used a lot of water doing dishes . Minor things on the downside overall it was a very cozy cabin and our family loved it. Not too far from old forge but peaceful and quiet if you want to stay at the cabin for the day. Supplied with movies and games for rainy days and no wifi for the kids to connect to make for quality family time on those rainy days. 100% would go again.. Michelle was very helpful and sweet, responsive to texts and seemed like a wonderful lady! Great host.

Summary: When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the spider webs on the light fixtures, and a faint wet/dank smell on top of a cinnamon scent. I understand it’s quaint and rustic, so my fam understood it wasn’t going to be a 6 star resort. The loft upstairs had bunk beds and such a wet/mildew smell the kids refused to sleep up there,There wasn’t a closet available for clothes, so we used 2 drawers , which had at least 4-6 bugs inside,I just wiped and cleaned . .In the kitchen, ran my hand over the counters and pulled out pots that were visibly dirty w food, and the counters felt gritty like sugar was spilled on them. I just cleaned what I needed. The bathroom was neat, but the one problem was the bathtub that isn’t level and when I stepped in the shower I fell 2 separate times. We arrived there was one box fan and a table fan (temps were 80-90 all weekend).I contacted the owner and the next morning he came to install 2 a/c units. The following day after the AC install, the owner to had to fill up the potable water outside.I didn’t know thatit was for all the water at the cabin. I even gave him the nyc bagels we had.Nonetheless we had a great time and made the best of it. To my dismay, they trying to charge me for β€œstrong smoke odors” in the cabin when no one smoked ANYTHING inside the property WHATSOEVER! I was cleaning this place meticulously so this obvious money grab is a sour note to such a great trip. We will be back but to a different property.
